The Bridge - Photo exhibition

The photographs depict the construction of the new Hakaniemi Bridge between 2022 and 2025. Rather than presenting a chronological account, the exhibition invites viewers to follow the rhythm, events, and labour of the building process. Through the images, visitors are encouraged to pause and reflect on the unfinished and to see the city as a changing entity – one in which the builder carries out their work and gradually guides our steps onto new paths. The exhibition will be on display from May 7 to August 31, 2026, at the City of Helsinki’s office building (Työpajankatu 8, lobby exhibition space). Opening hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00–16:00 Free admission
