Open Crafting Community

Bring your own craft project and come be inspired by creating together. At this event, we’ll knit, crochet, and sew together. Each time, you’ll also get a tip for an easy craft project, and the library’s craft books will be on display. Fall 2026 dates and tips: August 26, 10 a.m.–12 p.m. Crocheted earrings September 30, 10 a.m.–12 p.m. Tip based on participants’ requests October 28, 10 a.m.–12 p.m. Tip based on participants’ requests November 25, 10 a.m.–12 p.m. Paper Christmas decorations We’ll meet at the Paja workshop in the Lippulaiva Library. Sewing machines from the Ompeluhuone Solmu sewing room will be available during the event. Coffee, tea, and cookies will be served.
