Luciana García Ensemble brings together queer musicians from diverse cultural and national backgrounds to explore sound as a space of identity, resistance, and collective imagination. Through jazz, free improvisation, global influences, and stream-of-consciousness performance, this ensemble creates musical narratives that challenge conventions and celebrate multiplicity. The compositions created by Luciana García draw from research in queer theory and lived queer experiences, aiming to promote equity, amplify LGBTQIA+ visibility, and foster a sense of community through music.
