Loiske Ensemble: BabyTango

BabyTango combines a performance for babies with a dance session for babies and their companions. Tango is feeling, listening, a shared flow of movement, surrendering, leading and being led. At BabyTango’s core is the relationship between the baby and the parent or another significant adult. It is intense, lovely, exciting, delicate and unique. It is a state of non-verbal understanding, where movements, gestures, emotions and sounds express what is needed – when there are no common words yet. BabyTango is a session of interaction and love. The performance is followed by a shared dance session for the child and the adult. You do not need any previous dancing experience to participate.
