Rumours have been flying for a decade, now Wu Song returns Re-reading noble aspirations from the hero’s diary “Our entire generation is trapped by fate. We all share a troubled past…” Do people still write diaries? Yes. It is rumoured that a Diary of Song has been circulating widely, that the author—Song—is both an intellectual and a warrior. He has a unique perspective recording the minute details of life. Not only did he once kill a tiger, he also hit flies, and every page of that diary is filled with blood and sweat. But now he is unemployed, peddling sesame cakes, witnessing all of life’s absurdities. Despite all that, he still possesses dreams, poetry and that vision of a faraway desert. The Diary of Song premiered in 2017, receiving Best Original Script and Outstanding Production of the year at the 27th Hong Kong Drama Awards. Starting in 2022, its screen version has played in multiple cities, becoming a best-kept secret among theatre aficionados. This new version helmed by Poon Wai Sum assembles heroes from China’s great mountains, accompanied by Chan Wai Fat’s brand-new music and songs that capture their dilemma—whether to go forth or turn back—so aptly in words and in action, crafting a new classic of a movable diary. 十載風傳 武松再現 重讀頁頁豪情英雄日記 「我們這一代人，彷彿每一個都是身不由己，大家都有一段辛酸的故事……」 還有人寫日記嗎？有的。坊間流傳一本《武松日記》，據稱作者阿松，「也文也武」，以獨特視角，記錄生活上的微觀，既打老虎，又打蒼蠅，每一頁都是血與汗；然而，他失業了，他賣燒餅，見盡人生荒誕；又然而，他還有夢、詩歌和沙漠的遠方。 《武松日記》於2017年首演，榮獲第二十七屆香港舞台劇獎最佳劇本及年度優秀製作，2022年起於多個城市以錄像放映，彷彿成為劇場同好的小秘密。今次新版本，潘惠森率領三山五嶽人馬，配以陳偉發的全新音律，讓一眾梁山好漢進不得，退亦不得，每字每拳皆頓挫，成為一部行走中的日記新經典。
