Hissun Kissun

Finnish psychedelic pop newcomer Hissun Kissun released their debut album Kaleidoskooppi in spring 2026. Kaleidoskooppi is a masterpiece of distinctive psychedelic pop, with gentle synths, ethereal vocal melodies and sizzling fuzz guitars that take the listener on a journey deep into their own world. Like a kaleidoscope, the album reflects elements from many different influences and genres in ever-changing and symmetrical patterns, creating a diverse and multifaceted experience that combines modern psychedelia, danceable rhythms and enchanting compositions. Hissun Kissun, founded in Tampere in 2023, was born out of love for pop music, fuzz and analogue synthesisers. It is therefore fitting that the band is based in Tampere, the main hub of Finnish psychedelic music. The members' other bands include Radio Supernova, Polymoon and Skyjoggers. Hissun Kissun combines different influences, resulting in distinctive psychedelic Tampere-based pop with echoes of dream pop, psychedelic rock, disco and electronic music.
